Lyme: The Government Has Been Making Bugs More Deadly
Imagine having multiple sclerosis, joint and muscle pain, chronic fatigue and Alzheimer's all at the same time. That's what it can feel like to have undiagnosed and untreated Lyme disease.
STORY AT-A-GLANCE
In her book, “Bitten: The Secret History of Lyme Disease and Biological Weapons,
Thank you for shedding light on the complex issue of Lyme disease and the potential origins of the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria. It is important to consider all possible sources of the disease, including the possibility of it being developed as a biological weapon. The increasing prevalence of Lyme disease and the difficulty in properly identifying and treating it emphasizes the need for continued research and awareness. It is also crucial to address the issue of tick-borne coinfections and the resistance of B. burgdorferi strains to antibiotics. Your article provides valuable information and raises important questions for further investigation.
This is more of a fascinating article than I anticipated.
We grew up on a farm that was prone to many seasons with ticks. We learned in a hurry the different types of ticks there are in our area, and how to get rid of them on human skin.
They always managed to get inside the dogs’ ears though, and when they grew it was rather disgusting. One time I had one bite me and it looked similar to the picture you have in your article. They don’t tickle.
The removal was with a pair of tweezers and a drop of oil at the time if I remember correctly.
In any event, thank you for the much needed information about Lyme disease. It is a serious, problematic, dehabilitating disease that causes more grief than good if undiagnosed. You did an excellent job with the explanation of your prevention tips. They are key to keeping an eye on those pests. But it does not work for dogs. 🙂
This was a lot of interesting information. I have a couple of friends that suffer with the lasting effects of Lyme disease. I also have a friend who is a nurse that fits your description of those in the medical field that say there is no such thing as lasting Lyme disease and that these people just need psychiatric help. One of my friends almost died, so I don’t think that was all in her head.
This is the first I have ever heard that Lyme disease may be from gain of function research. I agree that this should be banned. Why would the U.S. want to develop something like this? What good would come from it? Weapons are used against the enemy. How could they ever control something like this if they used it against an enemy. It’s just wrong.
